THE HOPE

On a winter morning, when dense fog covered everything and no one can have the courage to go out, an old man of over sixty was seen sitting on a wood chair at the door of his house. It looked strange for an old man to sit outside of house, especially in such a time when blood freezes in veins and water solidify in sewerage pipelines. But above all, it was the matter of an old man. So no one was interested to interrupt. Going back. The old man was lost in deep thoughts. He looked sad and depressing. Obviously he was and this sadness added to his thoughts. Any one passed by him can easily observe that he was saying something to himself. He was doing self talk. “The years passed and I declined. Many years ago, when I was young. I had the energy to achieve my aims and I achieved. I did what I will. I served the earth even if I was in difficulties. I made life easy for my wife, for my children and for my parents.” He looked opposite side. But sun was not risen yet and everything was covered with dense fog. No man, no animal even a single bird was not present in such a cold. But nothing was affecting his concentration. So he continued “I spent all my precious years for all I knew. I tried my best provide to them with all that I did not have when I was in their age.” .the old man’s voice was shivering and tears of helplessness started flowing on his cheeks. After all, it was-4 on centigrade scale so his tears took much time to reach his chin. After some time, the old man was feeling the taste of salty tears in his mouth but he continued without care of them. “Now they are happy and I’m alone. They have all and I have nothing. They are hard working for what they created but they have forgotten the man who created them. They don’t see my weak arms and old body. They only see my previous efforts when I was young. They expect that I can do the same efforts that I did in the past. They think I need no support. How I can’t need any support? I’m an old man who has passed most of his time. I need a support. I need a support.” Suddenly, the rays of sun started passing through the dense fog. And the scene became a bit clear. It looked that sun is going to rise in a short time. The old man saw the long trees of palm and the images of high mountains covered with white snow. Now his tears had been dried but their spots were present on his cheeks. He again started “they did wrong but ABDUL you see that you was the man who had an iron will. Who didn’t demand any support from anyone except GOD. You made your ways through difficult and difficult paths. Remember the time when you faced a severe accident but you existed. The doctors said that it was due to your will power. Recall your will power.” Now the half part of sun appeared on the sky. The fog reduced and the sun rays started taking their place. Suddenly, some people appeared on the road and started their day’s work. At the same time, the old man heard the chirp of a sparrow. She was going to feed her children. A ray of hope passed in his heart and he felt his energy taking a new mode. All his emotions concentrated in his heart. He cried in a penetrating voice “you remember that you had only ten grams of gold when you first came to city to try your luck but you survived. Survive for yourself. Survive for good and forget all others. You tell them that you are stronger than you were in the past. Trust on GOD and try your efforts.” Suddenly all the fog disappeared like despair faded from old man’s heart. The sun was throwing its light from the middle of the sky. The snowy mountains were now very clear and a brilliant hope was shining on all things. The life started with a zeal and people were seen busy in their daily routine. The old man was also saying something to him and one can easily hear that he was saying “I’m strong enough to change the world”. hope is rising
